The 32nd International Meeting of Organic Geochemistry (IMOG) took place in Porto, Portugal, from 7–11 September 2025. Jointly organised by the European Association of Organic Geochemistry (EAOG) and EAGE, the event brought together researchers and practitioners to share the latest advances in organic geochemistry, spanning environmental studies, palaeoclimate research, and petroleum-related applications. With more than 500 members, EAOG is a diverse community that applies geochemical tools across a wide range of disciplines. IMOG reflects that breadth, serving as a key forum for exchanging knowledge, strengthening connections, and highlighting new discoveries and emerging techniques.
