IMOG 2023 will stand on its own as an innovative conference, bringing together the best minds in the field of organic matter cycles over geological and modern time scales as well as integrated paleoenvironmental and climatic studies.
In addition, our industry colleagues continue to bring tools and understanding needed to improve the full life cycle activities in exploration, production, decommissioning as well as new relevant energies.
The guiding principle of the IMOG meetings is to encourage presentation, communication and discussion of research results carried out in academia and industry in the fields of Organic Geochemistry with topics ranging from biogeochemistry to petroleum geochemistry.
The call for abstracts closed on 9 February. The Scientific Committee will review the submissions and a programme will be announced in mid-April.
If you missed the deadline but still wish to present your work at IMOG 2023 you can still submit your late-breaking abstract for poster presentation until 1 August 2023.
IMOG returns in-person following the successful online event in 2021. Community, scientific exchange and networking are at the heart of our conference and Montpellier provides an idyllic setting for this important gathering. This beautiful city in the south of France brings together rich cultural sights and a Mediterranean climate for a truly memorable experience.
