The 31st International Meeting of Organic Geochemistry (IMOG) was held in Montpellier, France from 9-15 September 2023. Organized by the European Association of Organic Geochemistry (EAOG) and EAGE, the meeting showcased the latest in organic geochemistry for environmental, paleoclimate, and petroleum industry applications. EAOG comprises over 500 members and is one of the few communities whose participants utilize geochemical tools across a broad range of applications. Knowledge sharing and community engagement are intrinsic to the value of IMOG, which consistently showcases new discoveries and advances.
